WorkPowerTeam was founded by Inna Zhuravel and Peter Tunissen. After Inna had a summer job in Peter's hotels in Nürburg (D) some years ago, they have always kept in touch. Inna turned out to be an enterprising young lady and started several companies of her own in Kharkiv (UKR) and also ran a real estate agency there.
Until the moment war broke out in her country and she had to leave her home in a hurry. After a journey of almost two weeks, she arrived in Germany with nothing more than a backpack full of clothes and her pet cat, Mars.
It is a story like that of many tens of thousands of refugees, at a time when we thought a war in Europe was hardly possible anymore.
Because of her previous work experience in Western Europe, she was soon approached by many compatriots with questions about how to get a job, what to take into account and in short: how does it all work in the Netherlands. Since the war unfortunately lasts much longer than expected and than was predicted and the end is not yet in sight, Inna, together with many other Ukrainians, came to the conclusion that her future lies in Western Europe.
Peter, on the other hand, in the customer base of his other companies has a large network of people with their own companies, all of whom are eager for good and motivated employees. It seems like that at this point in time, it is harder than ever to find these.
After an intensive brainstorming session, these two networks were linked together and WorkPowerTeam was established.
